How do I setup rent collection?
Setting up is super easy. Follow these steps and you'll be up-and-running in no time.
To get started, click on "Payments" in the main navigation bar:
Now click the turquoise button that reads "Set Up Rent":
If this is the first time you're setting up rent, United States money transmission laws require us to ask for a bit of information. We only require this once. You can read more why we require it here.
Click the orange "Continue" button this screen:

Now that you're ready to setup the rent collection, let's dive into it.
In this first step please either select the property you want to collect rent for from the drop-down or click the link "+ Or Add New Property" to add a new address.
The click the "Next" button.
2. Lease Type
Now tell us a bit more about the lease you're setting up.
For the "Lease Type", please choose "Existing Lease" if you already have a tenant living in your property. This would be a tenant who's occupied the property in the past and you simply want to use Hunt to collect rent.
If you've just found a tenant and also want to collect a security deposit, please select "New Lease".
Select the length of the lease and then click the "Next" button.
